Alaskan Cruise
For the vacation of a lifetime, you can’t get much better than an Alaskan cruise aboard a glorious cruise ship. Start off your cruise in Vancouver, B.C one of the most beautiful cities on the West Coast of Canada. From here you will travel along the west coast north to Alaska. The sights and sounds you will encounter along the way as you stop in the various ports of call will thrill you to the core.

Places to Visit...
Some of the stops you will enjoy on your cruise include College Fjord, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. In your day trips to these ports, you can revel in the spectacular scenery with mountain peaks that reach the sky. Take a helicopter or a dog sled ride to land on a glacier and visit Glacier Bay National Park. In each of the locations, you can partake of fishing trips, sightseeing cruises by land or air or guided tours of the towns.

Browse the artefacts in the museums to learn the history and unique culture of each place you visit and see the local crafts of this region.

Glaciers...
The Hubbard Glacier is one of the most fascinating stops on an Alaskan cruise. You can see how massive this glacier is and its actual formation from the mountains to the sea. There are 12 glaciers to see as you sail into College Fjord and is the sight of one of the largest glaciers in the world – Harvard Glacier. It appears to grow right out of the side of the mountain.

Activities...
Fishing and hunting opportunities abound when you visit this great white land of the North. Contrary to popular opinion it is not always cold in Alaska. In summer the temperatures can get quite high, but this season does not last long.

This state has abundant wildlife that you may only see in books. See the polar bear in its natural habitat and watch the whales as they frolic and play.

Shopping and Dining...
Each place you visit along your route is well set up to entertain tourists. Stroll the main streets of the town and drop into quaint stores where you will find unique treasures to take back home with you. Restaurants abound and you can enjoy the spectacular home cooking and the delicacies of the sea and the land.

There is nothing like an Alaskan cruise to refresh your mind and spirit and prepare you to take on the nuances of daily life.
