The Nile Cruise Information

A Nile Cruise...
So you’re going to Egypt? Well, you are in for the experience of a lifetime. The top on your list of things to do is a cruise up the wonderful Nile River, where you will see sights that will astound you and places that will boggle your mind. Many tour operators will take you on that cruise, which usually involves a five-day trip that will cover from Luxor to Aswan.

Cairo...
There is so much to see that a cruise is probably the best way to cover all the beauty that’s in store for you. Your first stop will be Cairo. Here you will find ancient monuments and medieval customs, but you will also find a very modern city that offers all the amenities that are offered in any other part of the world. There are churches, mosques, tombs and artifacts that will astound your senses.

Luxor to Aswan...
Stop over in Luxor for a look at the Karnak temple, where you will see unbelievable beauty in the statues. It’s hard to realize that they have been a part of Egypt for so many years. See the tomb of Tutankhamun or the newly opened Ramses II and the tomb of Nefertari. When you have seen a part of Luxor move on up the Nile to Aswan, where you will find picturesque places and a quietness that you did not find before. Here you can walk by the riverside and enjoy the sights of the land. It is much less crowded here.

Dining...
Dine on a floating restaurant for an evening’s meal. Take a walk to the market that stretches for miles and sells all kinds of spices and anything else you could want. This is a dream vacation that will stay in your memory for a very long time after you return home and maybe, just maybe, you can return to this magical place of tombs.

Beyond Cairo...
Beyond Cairo you will find more tombs and pyramids, such as the remains of the old Kingdom called Memphis, the Necropolis at Saqqara with a step pyramid older than the ones at Giza. Visit Kharga with its Berber community, temples and museums. At Dhakla Oasis you will find hot springs and camel rides over the sand dunes this place is famous for it’s Bent Pyramid.

The memories you make will stay with you forever.
