Egypt – Sharm El Sheik...
Sharm El Sheik is located on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. It has the Red Sea on one side and Mount Sinai on the other.
When you dock here you will not need much clothing - just something casual will do, Sharm El Sheik has a very hot climate, but does cool down in the evening. There is always a light wind blowing from the north that will help keep you comfortable.
Activities... Sharm El sheik is a wonderful place to visit, where you’ll find plenty of things to keep you busy such as snorkeling, diving, wind surfing or any other water sport you can think of. Maybe you would just like to lay back on the beach and listen to the sounds that surround you.
Maybe you’ll be more in tune to taking a horse or camel ride. Take a desert safari, which will thrill you to see so many sand dunes in one place. The beauty they offer as the wind carves and molds them, never to stay in one place to long, is truly a wondrous sight.
Here you will find golf courses of the highest quality, but maybe golf will have to wait until you return home. There are so many other things to do here.
Sightseeing... In Sharm El Sheik, the first thing you will notice are the colorful tents that wave in the breeze. Four miles south of the city, you can stand on a cliff overlooking the harbor for a spectacular view. Visit Na’ama Beach, north of Sharm El Sheik. Here you will find the beauty of this town with its friendly people.
Shopping and Dining... Visit Shark’s Bay, that is close by and explore the place and its people. For those who live to shop, you are in a shopper’s Mecca when you are in Sharm El Sheik. There is a mall where you can buy anything you need with both local and foreign products and it also have beautiful antique stores.
Sharm El Sheik also provides restaurants when you’re feeling hungry. This modern city sports quite a nightlife, as well as hotels and motels. Enjoy yourself at one of the casinos here. You will not walk away from this great city a loser.
