Lanzarote Cruises
Lanzarote
If you have ever wondered what it's like to land on the moon then you have to make a visit to Lanzarote. This island is totally different from any other island and probably unique to the world. Actually it will seem like you're in another world with its extraordinary landscape. Probably the reason for this is the volcanic origins that are part of its surface which are covered with ash and lava that makes you feel that you are on the moon.

This in itself has a unique beauty all its own as you will see when you visit here. There are parts of this island where you will find large plantations of fruit and vegetables and in the region of Geria you will find vineyards between volcanic craters. This island also has much to offer its visitors in its cities. It is a sports paradise for those that love the water and it has every kind of water sport you can imagine and all the fishing you would want to do.

Tourist Attractions

Lanzarote Cruises Two
The National Park of Timanfaya
This park came into being by hundreds of fire spitting volcanoes so much so that it has an extension of 200 km and is an impressive place to see. It is easy to access by car and it seems all the highways in Lanzarote here. Here you will see a sea of petrified lava and volcanic ashes. Some are still active such as Montana de Fuego, which means Mountain of Fire and just centimeters from the surface the temperature can go to 400°C. Water will vaporize in a second if pored on the crater and if you place any kind of wood on it, it will start to burn immediately. The last great activity in the volcano was in 1732. At that time large parts of the island were destroyed and in 1824 there were some small craters that erupted again. This is a fascinating place to visit to view the landscape.

The Beaches of Lanzarote
If you are a lover of fine sand and blue waters, this island can provide plenty of opportunities for you to enjoy them, such as Playa Blanca, which is a beach with tropical ambience and the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. Las Coloradas is a beach that offers small bays and turquoise seas, which are excellent for sports fishing.

For beautiful sand and a unique landscape, you could visit Punta del Papagayo Beach. Playa Quemata is also a very beautiful part of the coastline and has luscious vegetation. You will find a thermal spa with tropical surroundings and a lovely wide beach at Puerto del Carmenya and if you're wondering what a typical settlement is like you can visit Playa de los Pocillos, which also has an impressive volcanic landscape. Any of these beaches can give you total relaxation and enjoyment in a different part of the world which will make your vacation the most unique vacation you've ever experienced.
