Tenerife

Tenerife Cruises
When you visit Tenerife, you should be aware that it is called the Island of Eternal Spring. The reason for this is because of its equal equilibrated climate and an abundance of vegetation in the north. The wind that blows high in the mountains and cools the sea current is responsible for the good balance on weather conditions the whole year-round. Tenerife is a wonderful place to spend a family vacation. The history of this island is very unique and started more than 20 million years ago with the volcanic eruption that formed this island. The oldest mountain ranges rose from the Atlantic much later about eight to twelve million years ago.

There is much to do and see on this island and people of all ages can enjoy what is offered to visitors. This island has it all - exotic beaches, pyramids, museums and so much more. It will leave you with a feeling that this is the best vacation you have ever experienced.

Tourist Attractions
Tenerife Cruises Three

The Lago Martianez
Without a doubt one of the greatest attractions is the Lago Martianez. This wonderful island offers a series of sea water pools conceived by the Canary artist Cesar Manrique and forms an extraordinary spot for bathing and resting in the sun. This is harmonized with the architecture and exotic vegetation that you will find on the volcanic coast. Besides this wonderful place you will find many other small beaches with volcanic sand the best ones being Playa Jardin and Martianez.

You can look for more spectacular scenery in the botanical gardens that are in Loro Park and is a must to see for anyone that loves nature. These botanical gardens were founded in 1788 and they boast an enormous number of trees and plants from every corner of the planet. It also has the largest collection of parrots in the world and you will enjoy the parrot show as well as an excellent dolphinarium.

Tenerife Cruises Two

Piramites de Guimar
The Guimar step pyramids are really a sight to see. They are 26 km from Tenerife but are well the effort of going to see. These pyramids came to worldwide attention in 1990. Paramount architecture is found to have come with the same principles of those used both in the old and the new world and are aligned to the winter and summer solstice.

This is a place where you can surely get lost in time as you wander through these pyramids and you will find it both exciting and interesting for you or anyone that is in your family.
