I have traveled all over the world but never having taken a cruise, my husband and I went to Alaska, via Vancouver. We were blown away! From the moment we got on the ship until the moment we disembarked, the experience was fantastic. We didn\'t want to get off the ship to see the ports. The ship itself is a vacation in our opinion.
I was impressed as to the cleanliness of the ship. Constantly cleaning. The food was fine. I was not expecting gourmet.
We took the land portion of the trip from Whittier to Fairbanks. I highly recomment this portion. Again, Princess was wonderful and the staff so nice. The Lodges along the train trip were fun! Would have liked to stay longer at Mt. McKinley.
We booked the same ship, Coral Princess, for Panama, September 2006.
