If you choose to go on a Thomson Destiny cruise I don’t think you will be disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip, there was plenty for me to do and see (I am only 15!). I have been a few cruises with my family as we think they are much better than normal resort based holidays. The service on the destiny was amazing. We we in a standard cabin but even at that it was still very nice maybe a little small. The cleaner came around several times, cleaned, made the beds etc. I thought the highlight was the entertainment on board especially the lounge shows. The show team were all very nice and if you happen to meet any of them in the café they would be more than happy to talk to you and make sure you are enjoying the shows and even asked what parts I liked and why! So that was very nice.
The restaurant was also very nice it had so many different types of food and I would guess that covers just about everyone’s specific tastes on board. They also had a children’s menu that my little brother ate from.
The itinerary was very eventful we done a two week cruise, the first week was Romans & Riveria. It went to places like Rome which I have been to before so we went to Vatican city instead. The second week was the Jewels of the Mediterranean.
There was many many facilities and things to do on board. To name a few… Library, a gym, Oklahoma lounge, disco, kids club, sports deck, casino and a few other bars etc. There was also an internet café for people who likes to check back home.
Out of all the cruises I have been on… I would give this a 10/10!
Positives
Everything! Staff, Facilities, Entertainment, Food and even value for money.
