Arcadia is supposed to be a high class ship but it\'s a 3 star in a 5 star rating.
Positives
Embarcation and De-embarcation were good. Organiosation for trips was good. Cabin and staff faultless. Reception and staff very good and very helpful. Meridian dining room and staff 10/10 for service and politeness.
Negatives
Food in Belvedere restaurant was always lukewarm. Non availability of tables most of the time. Fruit juice and water only available until noon then you pay for it. Majority of night time quizzes or enterntainment was after 11.30 at night which was late if you had an early start a.m. for a trip.
More entertainment should have been in the bars not onlyu three quarter of an hour in the Palladium.
Shows in the Palladium theatre were disappointing. The commedian we had Mark Doyle was fantastic but the other shows were not.
Servic4e of self service launderette was non available each time we tried it.
Photography far too expensive on formal nights and and interruptions at dinner nights for photographs.
Compared with other ships (Princes Cruises) etc this did not compare to them, I was disapointed in Arcadia when I boarded, I did not say \'WOW\' like other cruise lines. Certainly not value for the money we paid. Was considering booking for Ventura, but I have reconsidered.
Would we go on Arcadia agian, No.
