Welcome to John Alexander's review of the Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Paul Gauguin. ReviewThatCruise.com is first for Paul Gauguin Reviews & Paul Gauguin ship reviews.
My cruise on the 28th of October 2006 was much more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Our cabin was smaller than expected but still very comfortable. The food was excellent and the waiters were excellent. La Veranda was brilliant and the main dinning room was very enjoyable. I would recommend picking up a sea band before sailing as you will need one because the Paul Gauguin is a big ship. There wasn’t many activities that was of interest to me on the ship and when I did find one I was ashore!
I used the fitness suite every morning and then I walked around the ship to warm down. The only thing I have against this cruise was that it wasn’t long enough, 7 nights is too short for this ship. I wish it was twice as long. The dressing was casual and I was glad to find that out as I don’t like dressing up all the time.
The passengers we shared a table with at dining were all a nice bunch of people. I enjoyed this cruise so much.
Positives
Everything, very good cruise ship and very good staff.
