Me and my husband just got home from an Eastern Caribbean cruise aboard the Carnival Triumph, we set sail on the 22nd of April 2006 – Miami. We arrived a day early to Miami and also got a free shuttle to the port from our hotel.
The embarkation was very smooth and fast by any standards. Our luggage arrived outside our cabin again safe and fast. We had an interior cabin on the main deck after receiving a free upgrade. The cabin itself was ok small, clean and comfy beds! The food in the Paris restaurant were very nice and so was the staff that worked in there.
As far as entertainment goes it was very good we saw The Carnival Dancers shows and found them to be the best of the bunch. There was a lot on at nights and so me missed a lot of things because there was so much. We enjoyed some piano music in one of the bars and also classical music in the Ladies Chamber Trio.
We done several ports of calls including Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and we done the excursions in most of them, I do recommend them we done some sightseeing, city tours etc much of that we would never have done if we just went ourselves.
We had a wonderful time aboard the Triumph and we do recommend this ship.
