Welcome to SUSAN COWAN's review of the Princess, Emerald Princess. ReviewThatCruise.com is first for Emerald Princess Reviews & Emerald Princess ship reviews.
travelled on Emerald Princess in May 2007. I flew to Rome and transferred by private taxi to meet the Emerald Princess at the port in Civitavecchia. When I arrived at the port I remember standing looking at the ship from the outside amazed at the size of it. This was my first experience on a cruise ship I was feeling apprehensive about the whole experience. There was no need to worry....
I proceeded to embarkation point where I left my luggage with the porters. The next time I saw my luggage was in my cabin, no hassle and stress free!
I was booked into a category BB which was a Deluxe Balcony cabin on Riviera deck. The room size was spacious with lots of wardrobe space. After I settled in to my room I then ventured out to the decks to see what the ship had to offer. It was really impressive there was so much to do on board. My favorite feature on this ship was \'Movies under the Stars\'
It was an outside cinema situated on Sun deck, where you could watch all the latest movies day and night, this was excellent and seemed to be a popular choice onboard with passengers.
I selected Anytime dining on board and I preferred this due to the flexibility. I also tried the two alternative restaurants, Sabatini\'s & Crown Grill. I would highly recommend you try both these restaurants it was worth paying the extra supplement for. Overall the food is excellent with Princess and I would even go as far to say it was the best i\'ve ever experienced! Cruising on the Emerald Princess was a great experience. What other kind of holiday offers you a different place to see every day? With no hassle of packing or unpacking, flying in and out of different airports, I saw lots of different places that i\'d never been to before on just one holiday!
