Dining
You can dine at Coral or Island with open seating dining, but as with any restaurant there are times when you will have to wait awhile. There are other tables that are set aside for a set table with a set time. The Coral restaurant serves breakfast and lunch as well as dinner. The food in both places is delicious with a Carrie flavour incorporated into the menu.
There are alternative dining areas such as the Café Caribe and this is the perfect choice if you’re looking for a casual dinner. Sterling Steakhouse is the place to experience the delicious taste of Prime Rib or steak of any kind. This restaurant comes with a surcharge of $10.00 per person. You will also find a lovely bar here.
Sabatini’s Trattoria offers an awesome seven course meal, with the food and service at the height of excellence. You will have to book a table for a particular night when you book your cruise to dine here or at least during the first two nights of your voyage. There is also a $20.00 surcharge to dine here. The Horizon Court serves a buffet on the Lido deck. They serve both breakfast and lunch also.
Other options are a pizzeria, where you can also get hot dogs and burgers and fries. You will also have 24 hour room service that has a nice selection to order from, but you will be expected to tip the waiter when it is delivered. Caribbean Princess offers “ Island Nights” which is a party that is presented in the main theatre on the night you leave your home port. This is also Caribbean influenced both with the food and dancing and presents a wonderful time for all passengers. It is held on the pool deck.
You will really enjoy the Champagne Waterfall. This is usually presented on the last formal night, where a waterfall is set up in the atrium with champagne glasses galore and everyone that attends is offered a glass of the bubbly.
During the day you will find lecture programs that cover such things as cooking, photography, computers, pottery making and personal finance. Usually extra fees do apply, although they may vary.
Take a trip to the Lotus Spa and you will find more relaxation than you can handle. The crew that work here will make you feel so pampered and special that you will wish the cruise would never end. You can also make reservations for this spa when you book your cruise which is a very good idea. This spa also features a beauty salon and when you order the spa’s treatment, the steam room will included.
There are three main pool areas on this ship, Neptune’s Reef being the main one, Calypso Pool, which overlooks a outdoor movie screen and another smaller pool. All of them come with whirlpools.
