Carnival Spirit Description

Carnival Spirit

Choose a cruise to Hawaii or the Mexican Riviera aboard the Carnival Spirit where you will have 7 fun filled days at sea. The artwork positioned on the walls of the public rooms will make you feel as if you are strolling through an exclusive art gallery. Here you will find all the best of the Carnival cruise ships all rolled into one – children’s activities, the best in entertainment, accommodations and food. The gym is designed to look like a Roman ampitheater providing ocean views at every turn. Have a real wedding in the chapel when the ship sails through Canadian waters and the wealth of bars and lounges are sure to keep you busy every night.

Accommodation

With 80% of the cabins having an ocean view, you can watch the sun rise and set as you sail along. Balconies and sitting areas let you bask in the view and no matter what type of room you choose, the twin beds convert to queen or even king. You don’t have to pack your hair dryer as one is provided and you can sit at the vanity table to do your hair and make up. The rooms have separate living and dressing areas and are equipped with refrigerators. The bathrooms are quite roomy and with the good lighting, you can read while in bed. Only the Category 5 cabins have an obstructed view, unless of course you have an inside cabin.

Dining

Pretend you are living in Napoleonic times with the décor of the main dining room, which can seat 1300 passengers quite comfortably. There are two sittings for dinner and the tables are arranged in groups of two, four and six. There are a few tables set for 8, as intimacy is the name of the game on this ship. You can also avail of breakfast and lunch menus in this dining room as well, where the food is nothing short of superb.

Dining at the Nouveau Supper Club is by reservation only, so make sure you make your plans well in advance. There is also a dance floor if you feel like tripping the light fantastic. For those who prefer buffet for breakfast and lunch, La Playa Grill is an international food station featuring a different food every day of the cruise. At night, the same area transforms into the Seaview Bistro where you can enjoy a snack for free. The midnight buffet offers late night snacks, but there is a 24-hour piaaeria and 24-hour room service.

Entertainment

Cozy up with a book in the Chippendale Library where you will feel as if you are in an English garden. Shop to your heart’s delight, play a game in the arcade or take a dip in the pool. A full service spa has everything you need for massage and treatments of all kinds as well as a fully stocked gym that will blow your mind. The Fun House is suitable for children aged 2 to 15 with all manner of programs to keep them fully occupied. The outdoor play area has mini-basketball and playground equipment, while the teenagers will surely like the games arcade and movies. There are supervised activities from morning until night allowing parents to create their own adventures.
