For the cruise of a lifetime your presence is requested aboard the cruise ship Constellation. This ship that joined Celebrity fleet in 2002 is just the ship that can give you the cruise that will stay with you long after you have returned home. With 11 passenger decks to chose from and a crew count of 999, you will find that your every need is seen to as you depart on your cruise until the time your cruise is finished. You will find two pools, four whirlpools, a spa, a beauty salon, workout rooms, a jogging track and much more. This ship boast two decks of classic forecourt in which the sweeping polished stone staircase is the focal point. This is a great classic ship and creates a level of graciousness that can be found in very few ships. This is a world of traditional countered with all the modern days amenities. You will never tire of the multi-million dollar art collection and other treasures you will find as you explore the ship itself.
Accommodations
Your choice of suites range from the inside cabins to the Royal suite, but they are smaller than one may expect. All of them are tastefully decorated and the most popular stateroom is the standard veranda, which sports twin beds that can convert to a queen, a vanity, three closets and a seating area. You will find the bathroom small but efficient.
With the Sky Suite, the big advantage is a bit more space and it also has features such as an entertainment centre, a walk in closet, and a whirlpool tub with the swankiest suite being the Penthouse. This suite measures 1690 square feet which holds a large living room, dining room combo with a table that can seat up to 12 people, a flat screen TV and internet. The veranda has a hot tub and Stairmaster and the bathroom has a tub set into a bay window.
Whatever your choice in suites, there is something on this ship to suit your budget and you will be more than happy with the service that is provided by the staff. They are there to help you have the time of your life.
Dining
If you’re expecting formal dining you will not be disappointed with the Constellation. You can visit the Ocean Liner which offers formal dining as well as a beautiful décor as the San Marcos serves. If you’re looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, then there is the Seaside Café, which runs from the pool mid ship all the back to the aft fantail and can seat 670 passengers at a time. You can start your day at anyone of these places and if you’re a health nut, then there is also a place you can go to get your favourite salad or drink just drop by the Aqua Spa Café for all the health food you can handle. In the evening, you will be pleasantly surprised when part of the café is converted to a Japanese Sushi bar for the evening meal. The Constellation offers dining in elegance no matter which Café you choose, but be forewarned that some of them do require reservations. You will also find 24 hour room service as well as The Grill where you can find such things as hot dogs, pizza, hamburgers and fries that will suffice for a quick snack or a meal on the run.
Entertainment
You will not be disappointed with the entertainment you will find on the Constellation, as one of their biggest features happens in a room called Reflections. This room is sometimes called the Bar at the End of the Earth due to the changes that take place in the evening. The bar is a Disco, but converts to an other world experience for a few hours during the evening where beings emerge to serve drinks, interact with the customers, touch, play mischievous jokes and entertain you until 11:30 in the evening. Then it reverts back to a Disco in which you can dance away the night. Once during the cruise, this room is the site of a masquerade ball.
Constellation’s two deck show lounge will take your breath away with the beauty before you. Here you can enjoy pop music, Vegas style shows and much more and do it all in the elegance of the lounge. You will also find many different styles of music being played by bands all over the ship so you can pick your favourite and enjoy a wonderful evening but this is not all that there is to offer , you can still enjoy the usual board and bingo games that are offered for the passengers. You will also find a casino on board for those of you that like to take a chance.
