The one thing that stands out about the Coral Princess is the feeling of spaciousness. You will not feel cramped in the public rooms as you do on some ships, even with the 1970 passengers that it carries, and that is just for starters. The Coral princess has so much more to offer to make this the cruise of a lifetime and one that will stay in your memory forever. You will have the time of your life exploring the 11 decks and the crew of 900 is anxiously waiting to pamper you like you’ve never been pampered before.
Accommodations
The Coral Princess carries a total of 987 accommodations ,of which 200 are Suites with balconies, 8 Suites with no balconies, 527 with ocean views and balconies, 144 with ocean view, but no balconies and 108 inside cabins. The standard staterooms measure 156 to 470 square feet with a balcony. Twenty of these rooms are designed as handicap accessible.
There is a fridge is included in your room as well as a safe, slippers, robes, television, daily ice delivery as well as turn down service. The bathroom is small, but comfortable as is the space you’ll find in the closets that are there. The balconies will certainly give you a sense of privacy.
The price level does make a difference. The higher in price you go the more amenities that are offered, such as two televisions instead of one, laundry services, shoe shine services, pillow selection, daily in room canapés or and tea and free Internet access.
Dining
There are two Grand dining rooms on this ship, which are called Provence and Bordeaux. Both of these dining rooms serve seven course meals. Dining is a dress up affair every night, but on formal nights they are dress to the nines affairs. The menus are out of this world offering more than the run of the mill food and giving everyone loads of options, including the vegetarians, which will find a very nice selection of things to offer.
Sabitini’s is an alternative dining room with a $20.00 surcharge, but it is so worth the extra money with its 18 course meal. Then there is the Bayou that serves up New Orleans style foods that will delight your taste buds. It also has a surcharge which is $15.00 and the Bayou has live music. You will find a little different ambiance in this dining room.
Horizons offers round the clock buffets and the choices are almost overwhelming. You can start your day here with breakfast and continue on to lunch as well as dinner. This dining room is near the two pools that Horizon carries, which makes it easy to dine on your lounge chair if you feel like it. For those who want a more formal dining all through the day, you can dine at the Bordeaux dining room. You can also have 24 hour room service.
Entertainment
On this ship you will find something that will please everyone. Treat yourself to a Vegas style show, enjoy a new release movie, try a night at the Karaoke club, or try the virtual golf that is available. You can find live music at the atrium, pool deck or any of the lounges.
During the day take advantage of the classes that are available such as the pottery workshops, dance classes, lectures on fashion, bridge and computers. For your evening, try your luck at the onboard casino, where you can chose from tables to slot machines.
To keep you fit and trim on your voyage, this ship has an ocean view gym. The prices on the fitness classes given here ranges from $20.00 to $40.00 and if you’re looking for a personal trainer, it will go a little higher. There are all types of exercise equipment that you can try on your own if you prefer. Next to the exercise room you’ll find the Lotus Spa, which offers a wide variety of treatments and there is also a beauty salon. You can also stretch your muscles as you walk around the Promenade deck.
For children this ship offers the Fun Zone with video games, a splash pool, scavenger hunts, pyjama parties and so much more. The tipping on this ship is $10.00 per person per day and 15 percent on bar bills, which can be charged to your onboard account.
