The Europa joined the Costa fleet in 2002 and has provided unforgettable cruises for many passengers since that time. When you board you will be greeted in the true Italian style. It will be the cruise of a lifetime and you won’t help but be impressed at the elegance of this 8 passenger deck ship. It the true Italian style you will find works of art, winding stairways and rich décor.
Accommodations
The Europa has 747 accommodations for its guests. Of these, there are 18 suites with no balconies, 403 with an ocean view and no balconies and 326 inside cabins. These cabins are tastefully decorated with ample room for your comfort. You can choose your accommodations to suit your budget as there are lots to choose from. Enjoy the view of the ocean as you sit in your room or watch the fantastic scenery as you sail into a new port or just watch the sunrise and the sunset as you sail along in an ocean of blue.
Dining
You will find quite a few choices when it comes to dining and food served in the traditional Italian manner. One of the crew of 650 will be there at your beck and call anytime during the night or day. This ship provides 24 hour room service as well as the restaurants where you can sit down to dine. The dining rooms are tastefully decorated and set in a mood that compliments your evening meal. There is also a children’s menus so that the little ones can enjoy their meal right along with you. The ship also provides babysitters and a children’s play area for those times that you wish to be alone.
Entertainment
For an evening of fun and games, you can drop into one of the bars or lounges on the Europa. Dance the night away at the Disco, drop in for a game of cards or go to the theatre and enjoy a movie. There is certainly lots to choose from.
This ship has two outside pools that you can enjoy along with a steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, whirlpool, group fitness classes, weight machines, free weights, cardio equipment, basketball, a jogging track, tennis, volleyball and shuffleboard. If you’re really into fitness, you can even have your own personal trainer while you’re on your cruise.
The Europa also has elevators, a beauty salon, a duty free shop, dry cleaning, and safety deposit boxes. There are also plenty of stores available for the avid shopper.
Europa hasn’t forgotten the children and you will find that there is a dedicated children’s centre, an outdoor children’s play area, a dedicated teen centre for those that are a little more mature, teen programs that all teens can join in, a children’s pool and a youth councillor staff. So let the kids go and let them have the time of their life while you are enjoying yours. It will be a cruise that will be talked about long after you have returned home.
