Costa Victoria Description

Costa Victoria

This ship will offer you the best of both worlds as you sail off into the sunset on the cruise of a lifetime. It has up to date facilities as well as an attractive décor. Almost half the accommodations have balconies, which gives her passengers a lot to choose from. . You’ll be in your element on this ship if you love the style of Italian. Whether you are cruising alone or with a group or your family, there is something on this cruise ship to suit every taste. A crew that will pamper you, exciting entertainment and shore excursions you will remember for a long time to come.

Accommodations

The inside cabins range from a four berth bed to a two berth, but at the top of the line there are 300 square foot cabins with balconies and mini suites that measure 430 square feet. The top grade suites have separate seating and dining areas. All cabins have individual air conditioning, televisions, direct dial phones, safes, mini bars and hair dryers.

For storage you will be pleased with the triple wardrobe and deep drawers that you will find in your cabin. There are also two bedside cabinets, as well as a small balcony with two sit up chairs and a coffee table. The bathrooms have a pretty grey marble floor and there is lots of lighting and storage in them with six storage shelves and lots of towel racks.

Dining

The Victoria has two main dining Restaurants and these are The Sinfonia and the Fantasia. Both are located on deck 9 and are elegantly decorated with deep carpets and crisp linen. Both offer two seating dinners as well as formal, waiter served breakfast and lunch. Menus are international, but you will find the freshly made daily pasta excellent. There are good desserts and salads also. You can order grilled chicken or steak at lunch time or try a Rueben sandwich or pasta dishes. Lunch time gets quite busy, so the service may be slow at times.

There are other alternatives for eating such as the Terrazza Café or the Bolero Buffet, where you can enjoy lunch under the shade of a sail like canopy. Outside the main hours, you can always drop in at the Pizzeria on deck 13. There is a wonderful view from the windows there. You will have 24 hour room service on this ship although a limited selection of foods are offered. This ship offers Midnight Surprise snacks that are usually served in the bars and lounges.

The Costa Magnifico Restaurant offers a fine selection of wine, spacious tables and seductive music. Here the food is superb. You pay 22 Euros per person, but it is well worth the money you spend.

Entertainment

Costa Victoria achieves multilingual entertainment very well. There are programs accessible to all people in the form of magic acts, classical music remittals and song and dance shows. You can find dance bands that perform throughout the ship.

There is a double outdoor pool on deck 11 and indoor pool on deck 6 as well as a gym and a spa. Deck 6 also has a jogging track and a beauty salon. Enjoy steam baths, saunas and massage rooms. There are programs designed for the younger children, such as treasure hunts and a special place for teens to hang out by themselves. There are also babysitting services available for those that need them.

The Tavernette Lounge is a cosy place to relax with a book, while the Orpheus Grand Bar is a fine place to meet for pre dinner drinks. Then there is the Casino Monte Carlos that will give you a run for your money and a good night’s entertainment.

There are plenty of shops for the die hard shoppers and you can buy your daily needs as well as shop for a special gift to bring home.
