When you board the Imagination, you are under orders to have the time of your life. The crew of 920 will see that you do and they won’t take no for an answer. You will love exploring the 10 decks that this ship holds and seeing something new on each deck. Exceptional service on this ship is everyone’s top priority and the crew is ready to help you with the smallest details. Your fellow passengers could be honeymooners, families or veteran cruisers and all of them will enjoy the trip in store for them.
Accommodations
Imagination carries a total of 1026 accommodations, of which 54 are Suites with balconies, 564 have no balconies, but do have an ocean view and 408 are inside cabins. The standard cabins measure 185 square feet and most cabins have twin beds that can convert to a queen size. Lighting is good and bathrobes are included in all outside cabins. You will also find television, safes and the standard amenities that are included on any ship.
Suite and demi-suites offer verandas, with 20 of the cabins available for the physical challenged. Drawer and closet space is more than ample for a trip on this liner. The décor of the rooms is pleasant and uncluttered.
Dining
The two main dining rooms on this ship are Pride and Spirit. Tables range from seating for two to tables of ten with excellent food and service. the food. You can get three meals a day in one of these restaurants or use the alternative eating place. which is Horizon Court. This is found on the Lido deck, with the same menu being offered as those in the two main dining rooms.
There is also a Nautica Spa menu available for those that don’t want to indulge in other kinds of foods. There are also special diets prepared with advance notice. There is a 24 hour room service that is served promptly, but the selection is limited. The Midnight Buffet proves to be very popular with the late night partiers.
Entertainment
You’ll be welcomed to the Captain’s Cocktail Party at the Dynasty Lounge on the Lido Deck. Then there are the Broadway productions that take place there, port talks and much more to keep you entertained. These shows are state of the art musical productions and have strong visual effects and Latin music influence.
Try one of the more than exciting places on the ship, such as the Dream bar. Here you can listen to piano music while you enjoy your drinks for the evening or the Pinnacle Bar that attracts people before and after dinner. Dance the night away at the disco and watch the sunrise in the morning. Drop by the casino and try your luck at one of the betting tables or one of the slot machines. You will find many tournaments that you can participate in at the casino.
The Nautica Spa will take care of your fitness needs as you sail along with the 15 machines they have there and plenty of room to use them. If you prefer jogging, then 11 laps around the Sports Deck is equal to one mile.
Try the main pool, which has a waterslide for an afternoon of fun or sun yourself on the pool deck. There is an alternative pool plus a children’s pool for the whole family to enjoy. There will always be a daytime activity taking place somewhere and a program for children that they will really enjoy. Babysitting is offered for those that need it and there is a children’s menu available with hamburgers and fries, pizza or anything else that kids love.
On formal nights all that is required is a suit for a man and a dress for a woman. The rest of the time the dress is very casual. Tipping is usually charged to your room account which is $10.00 per person per day with 15 percent tipping at the bars.
