If you are looking for a cruise ship that will offer a cruise that will stay with you long after you have come ashore, then welcome to Celebrity Infinity. Sail off into the sunset on this wonderful ocean bound ship of elegance and fun all wrapped up in one. The Infinity joined the Celebrity fleet in 1991 and has never looked back since, offering a world of its own as you board and disembark from your destination. You will find 11 passenger decks to explore after you get settled in one of the 1059 cabins that are offered.
Accommodations
Your choices of accommodations are more than sufficient on this cruise ship. They range from 42 suites with balconies, 8 with no balconies, 576 with a balcony ocean view, 227 with no balcony and an ocean view and 206 inside suites. All of them are geared for your comfort and with a crew of 999 to pamper you all through your trip you can’t help but enjoy every minute of your cruise.
The further down the ship you go, the smaller the square footage is of the accommodations. Balcony cabins are arranged about the same way as the rest but are slightly wider and more comfortable.
The Royal Suite will make you think you are not on the ship at all. It boasts a separate dining room and the living room furniture is out of this world. It also has a lap top, a marble bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a huge private balcony. If space matters to you, then this is the suite you should consider. Infinity has something in everyone’s price range and will give you an unforgettable experience.
Dining
Infinity offers a diner’s delight in the food that is served. The Trellis restaurant is the main dining room on this wonderful ship. Here you can have a formal breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is a two-tiered dining room that is geared to sit six to eight to a table ,which will give you the opportunity to meet new people and form new friendships. The highlight of this dining room is a paned showcase window that extends from the ceiling to the floor. Here you can enjoy traditional as well as vegetarian foods, so you have a choice to indulge or stick with that diet.
The Ocean View Grill and Café takes care of the pool side and is a buffet dining area, which at night serves as the ship’s casual dining eatery. If you are one of those people that likes to sleep late, then you can grab a coffee and a bite from Cova Café Milano. The ultimate is The SS United States and even though it cost $25.00 more to dine here, the experience will be well worth the extra money as they serve their no-holds-barred four course menu.
Entertainment
You will not find bored in your vocabulary on the Infinity as you sail from port to port. Take part in the many activities that this ship has to offer such as an art auction, wine tasting, vegetable carving or try ballroom dancing lessons. The ship has a cinema that shows the latest movies that are out on video or if you’re not in the mood for movies, then take in a theatrical performance that ranges from Broadway performances to piano concertos.
The Cova Café Milano offers a harpist each night for your enjoyment. If this does not suit your taste in music, then drop into the Fortune Casino and try your luck at the tables or the slot machines . If you feel like staying in your suite then you can play interactive gambling from there.
Infinity also offers many board games as well as bingo for your pleasure. Your biggest problem will be choosing what you are going to have for entertainment at the end of the day. There is a pool, a full service spa, a sauna, a steam room, a Jacuzzi, fitness classes, cardio equipment, a jogging track, volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard, beauty salons and much more to make you feel right at home.
