Inspiration is one ship that is made to give you the cruise of a lifetime and it is docked awaiting your arrival. There are plenty of activities and excitement and the crew of 920 will make sure you enjoy every moment of your cruise. You will be impressed with the party atmosphere from the time you come onboard and it only gets better as time goes by. There is a spa that will take care of your relaxation needs as well as a fitness centre. So come on aboard and experience the cruise of your dreams as you sail away on the Inspiration.
Accommodations
This ship has a total of 1026 cabins that will make it easy to chose to suit your taste and your budget. Out of these there are 54 Suites with balconies, 564 with no balconies, but an ocean view and 408 inside cabins.
Most cabins have twin beds that convert into a queen bed when necessary. The standard cabins measure 185 square feet and you will find good lighting by each bed. There is satellite TV and the standard amenities that you find on any ship. Robes are provided to all outside cabins. Only demi-suites and suites offer balconies.
Twenty cabins are handicapped accessible, which gives you a large number to chose from. The décor of all rooms is simple and uncluttered. You will find more space than you need when it comes to closet space and drawers.
Dining
Sit yourself down for a meal at the two main dining rooms on this ship, which are Mardi Gras or the Carnivale, neither of which you’ll find crowded. There are tables from booths up to sittings for ten and you will fine the food excellent as well as the service. Three meals a day are served at the Brasserie Bar and Grill on the Lido Deck.
There is also a 24 hour pizzeria. At this bar and grill you have to carry your own trays back to your table. If you feel like salad or something low in calories then the Nautica Spa menu will take care of your needs. Special diets are available with advance notice. Midnight buffets are very popular with the passengers especially those that are having a good time.
Entertainment
You will find Moulin Rouge lighting and colours in the Paris Lounge along with some mighty fine Vegas style productions, which attracts many of the passengers. This state of the art theatre boasts special effects and a sound system that would compare to any land bases show room. You need to be early to get a good seat as there are some seats that have the view obstructed.
You will really enjoy the Rhapsody in Blue, which is a sing- along piano playing bar. You need to get here early also because it is so popular that later in the evening you will find standing room only.
Dance the night away at the Rock and Roll Dance Club, where you can dance until dawn or the Avant Garde Lounge, where you’ll find a chess board dance floor and live music that will keep you hopping. If you’re under 18, then you will enjoy the Teen Dance Club.
Drop by the Monte Carlo Casino, where you can have fun at one of the many betting tables or try one of the many slot machines it holds for an unforgettable evening.
The Lido deck holds a large pool that comes complete with music to keep you entertained. The Nautica Spa is waiting for you to try the state of the art training equipment as well as the best massage you will find anywhere. This spa measures 12,000 square feet so there lots of room. There is also a beauty salon there. You will also find six whirlpools and a jogging track. Try their state of the art golf simulator that will take you to the best courses in the world.
Families are welcomed on board the Inspiration and this shows in the programs they have lined up for the children. Camp carnival is divided into four rooms to accommodate different ages. Babysitting is also provided. There are two formal nights onboard that require a suit and tie and dresses for the women. Other than that the dress code is casual. Recommended tipping is $10.00 per person per day and this covers everything but 15 percent is expected to be paid with bar bills.
