Nautica seems like her other sister ships, but it holds other surprises that its sister ships don’t have, such as a brand new Cabana Deck on top of the ship. All of its vista and owner’s suites have been completely refurbished and all rooms feature the new sleep system called Tranquillity bed. The main dining received a new facelift, all cabins received new furnishings as did the public rooms. All of this is offered at very nice low prices without giving up any of the luxuries that you’d expect on a cruise liner. You will love exploring the 9 decks of this ship and if you have sailed on the Nautica before then you will certainly notice the improvements. The crew of 400 members are waiting to pamper you every minute of your voyage as you sail into the sunset.
Accommodations
The Nautica has a total of 342 accommodations for its passengers, which gives you plenty to choose from and at a very reasonable price. Out of these 342 you will find 62 Suites with balconies, 170 with balconies and an overview, 85 with an ocean view but no balconies and 25 inside cabins. All of these have been refurbished and offer beds that are extremely comfortable as they have memory foam tops on the beds. All new furnishings have been added to the rooms to make them very up to date.
Owner’s and Vista Suites have 42 inch plasma TV’s and a few more amenities than the cabins do but they all sport new furnishings and new beds. They also have Bose sound system.
Dining
You can delight your taste buds in the main dining room, which is the Grand Dining room or you can use the alternative dining room, which is the Toscana. This wonderful dining room has received a complete facelift and you’ll find the food delightful. You will also enjoy a very intimate dinner here.
The food is wonderful and you can enjoy open seating where you can find tables for two, four, six, eight or ten. The dress code is casual, but if there is a formal night then you’re expected to dress for the occasion.
Entertainment
There is much to do on this ship to keep you occupied. Take a swim in one of the pools or drop by the full service spa where you’ll find a sauna room, steam baths, Jacuzzis, group fitness classes, beauty salons, exercise equipment, a jogging track, shuffleboard, ping pong, basket and volleyball, and so much more. If you like shopping, then you will really enjoy the duty free shops that you will find on this ship. There is a personal fitness trainer that can set you on the right road to improving your health.
For evening entertainment you will find an ample amount of bars and lounges, disco clubs that you can dance the night away, a casino that offers many tables and slot machines and music at poolside. You will also find a card room if you feel lucky.
This ship doesn’t offer any programs for children so it probably would be a bit boring for any one under 16.
