The Prinsendam is a ship that offers the feeling of yacht sailing but with the space of a luxury liner. This 800 passenger gem of the seas will transport you to the dream vacation of a lifetime and do it in the utmost style. This ship boasts 22 very spacious public rooms with ocean views in 93 percent of her accommodations and private verandas on 67 percent of her staterooms. As soon as you go onboard you will be awe struck by the signature sculpture that is suspended in the three story atrium and this is just the beginning. You will find that the beauty of this ship is as excellent as the service of the 443 crew members that sail on her and is waiting to spoil you rotten.
Accommodations
The Prinsendam offers a wide variety of accommodations to choose from such as the Penthouse where you will find a king size bed that converts to two twin, a walk in closet, a bath with an ocean view, a shower, a living room, a dining area, a private veranda, a fridge and a floor to ceiling window. This beauty measures 724 square feet including veranda. The Deluxe Veranda Suite offers a king size bed that converts to twin, a walk in closet, a bath with a tub and shower, a double sink, a sitting area, a private veranda , a fridge and floor to ceiling windows. These rooms measure 488 square feet.
The Superior Veranda measures 362 square feet and offers a king size bed, a walk in closet, a bath with tub and shower with some having a shower only, a double sink, a sitting area, a private veranda, a fridge and floor to ceiling windows. The Deluxe Veranda Outside Stateroom measures 228 to 238 square feet and offers the same as the Superior while the Large Outside Staterooms measure 181 to 191 square feet and offers two beds that convert to a king , a walk in closet and a bathtub with a shower.
Dining
The chime master will call you to the most enjoyable evening of dining that you could imagine. Dine on such delights as filet mignon and seafood as you listen to the music of a quartet along with the finest wine that is served on the high seas. The staff will pamper you with the delights of these foods or something with a vegetarian dish. Special diet foods are also available upon request. It is wise to make reservations for dining when you board the ship as there are four settings during the evening.
The Pinnacle Grill offers the ultimate in dining and it is by reservation only but if your planning a romantic evening then this is the place to be. The elegance and intimacy of this beautiful room will make your evening one that will be unforgettable. If you want an ocean view all around you then the Lido Restaurant is the place to be. Here you can enjoy carved meats, fresh seafood and much more in a much more relaxed atmosphere. Start your day here with the bountiful breakfast that are served. The ultimate in relaxed eating is found at the Terrace Grill. Here you can get burgers and fries, hot dogs and tacos.
Entertainment
For a night of lively entertainment, try the Queen’s Show Lounge where you’ll find Las Vegas style productions along with talented vocalists, illusionists, comedians and variety shows. Drop by the casino for a night of fun and laughter as you try your luck at the tables or one of their slot machines. In the evening the Crow’s Nest explodes with a DJ or band and you can dance until dawn with a video wall system and a light show that will leave you spinning.
If you want to keep in shape during your voyage then the fitness centre will certainly take care of your needs and after you work out on the equipment that is offered take a swim in one of the pools or a jog around the track. After all of this find the ultimate in relaxation in one of the many treatment rooms that are offered in the Greenhouse Spa. There are no programs offered for children on this ship.
