Seven Seas Voyager Description

Seven Seas Voyager

The Seven Seas Voyager is another of the wonderful Regent Seven Seas ships and in the usual manner it is no less unique than the others. Its distinction lies in the spacious rooms that are available and the restaurants, which are all open seating. You will certainly get the feeling that you’re in a luxurious hotel that just happens to float. This nine passenger deck wonder has surprises at every corner and will keep you busy exploring. It’s very friendly with accommodating crew that can’t wait for you to come aboard and show you just what they have to offer for a cruise. This is one cruise that will live in your memories for a long time to come. .

Accommodations

Accommodations are simple on this ship. There is a total of 350 accommodations and every one of them have balconies. All cabins measure 356 square feet and all staterooms have king size beds that convert to twin, marble bathrooms with tubs and showers, DVD players, large screen TV, mini fridges that are stocked with complimentary water and soda. There is a separate living space complete with a table for dining and balconies are compact, but very comfortable. Four of these suites are wheelchair accessible. The Penthouse or the Grand Suite measure a whopping 1,403 square feet and you get butler service with these suites.

Dining

This ship has it all including four full service dining rooms. Compass Rose is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner where besides the traditional menu you can also order from the Judith Jackson Health Menu. Signatures is a fancy restaurant that requires a jacket and tie evening. This restaurant is for “that very special occasion” and should be tried at least once on a cruise.

The Latitude Restaurant is a unique concept at sea, where you’ll find an open kitchen which gives you entertainment as you eat. There is only one seating that starts at 7:30 and you have to stand up to the door for your greeting, which you’ll find fun and unusual. It also has a no choice set menu which also makes it unusual.

La Veranda is open for breakfast and lunch buffet, but in the evening it is turned into an extraordinary buffet that you have to experience. All the restaurants offer complimentary wine with dinner. There is 24 hour room service and the food is as excellent as the service.

Entertainment

Each night you will experience a different variety of entertainment at the Constellation Theatre. From lectures to productions this theatre has it all and you won’t want to miss one evening. Horizon Lounge offers a nice dance floor with the music of the Voyager Five Orchestra playing. The Voyager is the ship’s disco and has karaoke to keep you entertained. The Connoisseur Club is both elegant and cosy complete with a fireplace and is a very peaceful place to enjoy a drink. During the day you will not find much entertainment onboard as the trips onshore are really intensive.

The Carita Spa will take care of all your massage needs and the Fitness Centre will help you keep slim and trim during you cruise. The ship has one pool with two Jacuzzis and you can also find shuffleboard, paddle tennis and bocce. For children, there is a Club Mariner’s Youth Program in place and the staff plan all kinds of activities for children. There is one formal night where you are expected to dress up. Otherwise it is country club casual. You’ll find no tipping here, as it is included in your cruise fare.
