The Tahitian Princess is a gorgeous ship that will impress you from the time you step onboard. The décor will evoke the feeling of a very British country house hotel. You will experience the ambiance of a mid size ship with all the comforts of the biggest vessel that sails the seas. Explore the 11 passenger decks that this ship offers with new delights around every corner and the crew of 373 are awaiting your arrival to pamper you like you have never been pampered before.
Accommodations
Tahitian has a total of 334 accommodations for its passengers of which 62 are Suites with balconies, 170 with ocean view and balconies, 76 with an ocean view but no balconies and 26 inside cabins. You can choose from the inside cabins which measure 158 square feet to the Owner’s Suite which measures 962 square feet.
The staterooms are cosy and comfortable. All cabins have showers, but the mini suites have bathtubs and mini fridges. All cabins have television with a good selection of channels. You will find that the suites with balconies are made from wrought iron and are not obstructed by glass.
Dining
The Tahitian Princess has a modified version of personal choice dining. The Panorama Buffet serves both breakfast and lunch, but turns into a pizzeria in the evening for the late nighters. If you’re one of these ,you can enjoy a hot dinner at the bistro from 11pm to 4 am. The Sterling Steakhouse offers melt in your mouth prime rib or any kind of steak you desire.
Sabatini’s is not to be missed with it’s multi course Italian style feast which makes the $15.00 surcharge to eat here well worth it. Try the Club for afternoon tea where you can enjoy music while you sip. There is also a Polynesian buffet held by the pool side for late night eating.
Entertainment
There are plenty of activities during the day as well as at night. You will find the usual games of shuffle board, ping pong, and a golf simulator, but you will also find cooking demos, craft workshops and movies in the afternoon at the Cabaret.
Drop by the Casino or the Club for an evening’s entertainment. You will get the opportunity to listen to a guitarist or pianist to add to the enjoyment. The Cabaret Lounge also offers a array of production shows as well as comedians and magic shows.
The one pool on this ship is flanked by two whirlpools. A small walking/jogging promenade circles the pool area, but this is only busy in the morning.
The spa is absolutely gorgeous and is waiting to pamper you silly. There are four treatment rooms and a steam room as well as a pool. There is also a fitness centre that will take care of your needs to keep in shape during your voyage.
